Workshops are open to all levels of painting experience. They are geared towards helping artists strengthen their plein air art skills. Ray will discuss composition, design  and color theory. Focusing on a simplified process he will demonstrate and teach a  step-by-step method to create a successful plein air painting.   The workshop begins with an opening segment that will include a discussion on  supplies, favored materials, techniques and ideas on finishing your paintings.  Participants will meet at a designated area (maps will be provided). Ray individually  helps with the progression of your painting throughout the workshop. On the last day  the workshop will end with a group critique.
